Completing Story (a): A Railway Station

Title: A Day at the Railway Station

One day, Rahim, a Class Six boy, went to the railway station with his father. They wanted to catch a train to visit his grandmother. The station was bustling. People were running here and there. Some were buying tickets, and others were carrying bags. Rahim saw a small boy crying near a bench. He looked scared and alone.

Rahim asked his father, “Can we help that boy?” His father nodded. Rahim went to the boy and said, “Why are you crying?” The boy said, “I lost my mother in the crowd.” Rahim felt sad for him. He told the stationmaster about the boy. The stationmaster announced the speaker. Soon, the boy’s mother came running. She hugged her son and thanked Rahim.

Rahim felt happy. His train arrived, and he boarded it with his father. On the way, he thought about how helping others makes us feel good. He decided always to help people in need. The railway station taught him a big lesson about kindness.

Completing Story (c): Birds of Bangladesh

Title: The Lost Sparrow

In a village in Bangladesh, there was a little sparrow named Chiku. She lived in a tree near a school. Bangladesh is home to a diverse range of birds, including sparrows, mynas, and kingfishers. Chiku loved to sing every morning. The schoolchildren enjoyed her songs.

One day, a big storm came. The wind blew hard, and Chiku’s nest fell from the tree. She flew away to find a safe place but got lost. She felt scared and tired. A kind boy named Asif saw Chiku sitting on a wall. He noticed she looked weak. Asif loved birds and knew about sparrows.

He gently picked up Chiku and gave her some rice grains. He made a small nest with straw and kept it in his yard. Chiku felt safe. After a few days, she regained her strength. One morning, she sang a sweet song to thank Asif. Then, she flew back to her tree near the school.

The children clapped when they saw Chiku again. Asif smiled and said, “We must protect birds.” Chiku’s Story taught everyone to care for birds in Bangladesh.

Karim: Yes, Rina! It’s fun. We can watch cartoons and news from all over the world.

Rina: That’s true. Satellite TV has many channels. We also learn about animals and science.

Karim: I like sports channels. They show football matches! It’s suitable for fun.

Rina: But sometimes it’s not good. I watch TV too much and forget my homework.

Karim: Yes, you’re right. It can waste time. Some shows are not suitable for kids.

Rina: My mother says some news makes us scared. We should watch only good programs.

Karim: I agree. We must watch TV for a short time and study more.

Rina: Let’s make a rule. One hour of TV, then we do our homework!

Karim: Great idea, Rina! Let’s enjoy TV, but be careful.

Mina: We should clean it. Let’s pick up the papers and wipe the desks.

Sohan: Good idea! If we keep it clean, our teacher will be happy too.

Mina: We should tell everyone to throw rubbish in the bin.

Mina: Let’s ask our friends to help. A clean classroom is suitable for all.

Sohan: Okay, Mina! Let’s start cleaning now and keep our classroom neat!
