Composition Writing for Class Six to Eight
Composition 1:
Rainy Season in Bangladesh (250 Words)
The rainy season in Bangladesh is from June to September. It is a special time when the sky is full of dark clouds, and rain falls almost every day. This season makes our country green and beautiful. Rivers, ponds, and fields with water help farmers grow crops such as rice and jute. The cool air feels nice after the hot summer.
In villages, children love to play in the rain and float paper boats in puddles. The sound of raindrops is peaceful, and the green trees look brighter. But sometimes, too much rain causes floods. These floods can cause significant damage to homes, roads, and crops. In cities like Dhaka, water stays on the streets, making it hard to move around.
People use umbrellas and raincoats to stay dry. Farmers work hard in the fields, even in the rain, to plant crops. We also enjoy eating hot snacks, such as pakoras, on rainy days. The rainy season is essential for our country because it gives water for farming and drinking.
To avoid flood problems, we should keep drains clean and build strong houses. The rainy season is both fun and challenging. It brings life to our land and teaches us to be strong. I love watching the rain and feeling the cool breeze, as it makes Bangladesh look like a green paradise.
Composition 2:
New Year Celebration in Bangladesh (250 Words)
New Year in Bangladesh is a happy time, and we celebrate it in two ways: the Bangla New Year and the English New Year. The Bangla New Year, called Pohela Boishakh, happens on April 14. It is a big festival for all Bangladeshis. People wear new clothes, like sarees and kurtas, and join colorful rallies called Mangal Shobhajatra. These rallies have songs, dances, and beautiful decorations.
On Pohela Boishakh, we eat tasty foods like panta bhat with fish and sweets. Families visit fairs, and children enjoy rides and toys. In villages, people draw ‘Alpana’ in their homes. Everyone wishes each other “Shubho Noboborsho”.
The English New Year, celebrated on January 1, is also a fun occasion, especially in cities. People go to parties, watch fireworks, and sing songs. Friends and families share greetings and pray for a good year. On TV, we see special programs with music and dance.
Both New Years bring joy and hope. We clean our homes, wear new clothes, and plan to do better in studies and life. Sometimes, cities become too crowded during celebrations, so it’s essential to stay safe and follow the rules.
I love New Year because it feels like a fresh start. It’s a time to be with family, eat yummy food, and dream about a happy future. In Bangladesh, New Year celebrations bring everyone together, making everyone smile and feel a sense of unity.
